Finance Systems Manager (Remote)

We are partnering with a leading global offshore law firm to hire a Finance Systems Manager. The firm has a strong international presence and a reputation for delivering pragmatic, high-quality legal services. Role Summary

We are seeking a Finance Systems Manager to oversee, maintain, and enhance the firm’s financial systems, with a primary focus on Aderant . This role offers flexibility to work on-site or remotely from Jersey, Guernsey, or the UK.

You will be responsible for ensuring finance systems operate effectively, supporting finance operations, and improving the user experience through system development, configuration, and training. A major upcoming project includes the 2026 upgrade of the core Aderant system to the Sierra AWS cloud platform, which you will lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all Aderant and finance systems queries
• Maintain system integrity, security, and compliance with AML/regulatory requirements
• Manage user access, security, and administration controls
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, collaborating with IT and external vendors
• Lead system upgrades and new implementations, including planning, testing, data migration, and rollout
• Deliver training, create documentation, and embed best practices to improve adoption
• Support finance reporting, data extraction, and compliance reporting

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in professional services
• Strong expertise in Aderant system management and support
• Technical skills in configuration, upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI)
• Understanding of legal finance operations and regulatory requirements
• Accounting or bookkeeping qualification preferred
• Excellent communicator capable of training non-technical users
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to deliver projects to deadlines
