Business Analyst

A rare opportunity to join a greenfield platform build from the ground up, with no legacy system to inherit and genuine influence over the product from day one.

We are working with a PE-backed energy services company to appoint a Business Analyst into their dedicated technology team. The focus is building an end-to-end platform for the energy sector, an agile, fast-paced environment working in 2-week sprints with a technically strong team.

The Role

You will act as the bridge between product and development, translating business requirements into clear, sprint-ready solutions. Responsibilities include facilitating discovery, managing the backlog, and engaging directly with energy companies during the platform rollout. Travel across England and Wales is required during the initial rollout phase, up to twice per month, with expenses covered.

What We Are Looking For

• A commercially aware BA with a background in energy, utilities, construction, or field services.
• You will understand how operational businesses work, scheduling, site visits, compliance, customer records, and be able to bring that knowledge into a fast-moving agile environment.
• You will be confident using Miro, Jira, and Confluence on a daily basis.

The Details

Location: Central Scotland, 3 days onsite.

Salary: up to £55,000 plus pension.
