Network IT Apprentice
Are you looking to turn your passion for IT into a career? We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Network IT Apprentice in Burton. You will perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Role
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify ant possible intrusions
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
- Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
- Create, change and delete user accounts per request
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures whilst coordinating and communicating with the impacted.
Training
- Level 3 IT Technician apprenticeship standard delivered via virtual learning platform sessions
- With support from specialist trainers and 121 skills coach and our learning platform "Aptem" complete learning on program
- IT Vendor training will also be provided
- Numerous routes of progression throughout the business
