Apprentice Fire Systems Technician
An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Fire System Technician at RayFire Services based in North Shields. The purpose of the role is to carry out the installation, maintenance and repair of fire alarm systems, and some security systems. This is a great opportunity for the right person who is enthusiastic and wants to learn new skills.
Role
Main Duties:
- Supporting the Technicians in the installation, servicing/maintaining and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Use of hand tools, test equipment and laptops
- Completion of all relevant site paperwork on a smartphone
- Working to company procedures and following all health & safety guidelines
- Provide excellent service to customers, building solid working relationships
These duties are not exhaustive, and other duties may be required from time to time. It is also anticipated that the duties will progress over time.
A driving licence and access to own vehicle would be preferred but is not essential for the right candidate who is looking to achieve this within an agreed timescale.
Training
Will attend day release at Access Training based on Team Valley, Gateshead – 1 day per week/fortnight.
Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Level 3 Apprenticeship.

The successful applicant would have excellent long-term prospects, with the opportunity to develop as a Lead Technician for the company as it continues to grow.
