Autoline Support Analyst
Job Summary
The Autoline Support Analyst works in conjunction with business personnel to manage system access, provide technical support, maintain data integrity, and assist with project delivery. This role is critical to the smooth running and optimization of the Autoline Dealer Management System (DMS) across the network, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Autoline-related account requests within the Security Centre.
Ensure accurate processing of requests for:
- New user accounts
- Amendments to existing accounts
- Account deletions
Maintain compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all account management activities.
Provide second-line support for Autoline-related user issues, including:
- Administering and resolving technical problems.
- Updating in-house call logging systems to maintain accurate records.
- Liaising with and managing third-party suppliers for escalated issues.
- Logging and managing calls within third-party supplier portals to ensure timely resolution.
Perform data maintenance activities, including:
- Updating Franchise Data to ensure accuracy and currency of information.
- Importing various Sundry Files.
- Executing end-of-period closures for: Nominal Ledger, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
- Managing additional data maintenance tasks as required to support operational integrity.
Support project teams by:
- Providing information and consultancy to ensure informed decision-making.
- Managing communications between stakeholders and project teams.
- Ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines, supporting successful delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Essential:
- Experience using Autoline.
- Proven experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Desirable:
- IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified).
- Experience working within automotive retail or dealership environments.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both colleagues and external suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data handling and system processes.
- General IT skills, including familiarity with common software applications and system environments.
- Previous 'hands on' experience supporting the Autoline Dealer Management System.
- Solid understanding of data management.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems.
