Role Overview
6 Month Contract Inside IR35
We are seeking experienced ServiceNow Developers to support a major enhancement programme, addressing a substantial backlog across our ServiceNow platform. The focus of this role is rapid, high-quality delivery of enhancements, working closely with Product Owners, Platform Leads, and Business Stakeholders to improve platform capability, performance, and user experience. This role is delivery-driven and suited to developers who are comfortable working through prioritised queues, refining requirements, and delivering incremental value at pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow enhancements across agreed modules and applications
- Work through a large, prioritised enhancement backlog, providing accurate effort estimates and delivery timelines
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements and propose scalable solutions
- Build and customise Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Flow Designer, Workflows, and Script Includes
- Ensure all enhancements align with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards
- Perform unit testing, peer reviews, and support UAT activities
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and simplification
- Support backlog reduction with consistent delivery within release cycles
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Strong JavaScript skills within ServiceNow
- Experience delivering enhancements across ITSM, Service Catalog, Automation, or CMDB
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Desirable Skills
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS)
• Experience with large or complex ServiceNow estates
