Location: Remote (Bristol)

Day Rate: £500 - £540

Contract Length: 6 Months

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Security Consultant to act as the focal point for project security across key defence programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for project security matters.
Manage and maintain project security risks and risk registers.
Produce and maintain Security Management Plans, security artefacts and assurance evidence.
Support security audits, compliance activities, gate reviews and security cases.
Provide security reporting, dashboards, KPIs and governance updates to senior stakeholders.
Work with project, engineering, procurement and security teams to ensure security requirements are implemented effectively.

Requirements

Experience in Project Security, Security Assurance, Information Assurance or Cyber Security Governance.
Strong cyber security understanding and the ability to ensure systems are cyber secure by design.
Experience managing security risks, risk registers and assurance activities.
Experience producing security documentation such as: Security Management Plans (SMPs), Risk Registers, RMADS, Security Cases, Assurance evidence packs
Experience supporting audits, compliance and governance reviews.
Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and secure systems.
Knowledge of ISO27001 and risk management best practices.
