IT Deployment Support

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated IT Deployment Support to join a busy IT Support and Deployment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on IT experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

About the Role

The primary focus of this role is to support the organisation’s IT equipment estate, ensuring all devices are efficiently deployed, maintained, and managed throughout their lifecycle.

You will be responsible for preparing, configuring, and deploying desktop and mobile devices, supporting IT stock control, and ensuring all equipment and systems are maintained to a high standard.

This role involves working across multiple local sites when required, although you will be primarily based at Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy, image, and configure desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Install and update software applications and security patches
  • Maintain accurate IT stock control and asset records
  • Support full lifecycle management of IT equipment (deployment to disposal)
  • Deliver devices and equipment to users across multiple sites when required
  • Log, update, and manage IT support tickets in line with SLAs and KPIs
  • Prioritise, triage, and resolve IT incidents where possible
  • Provide remote support to end users
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams
  • Ensure all user and service information is accurately recorded on service desk systems
About You
  • Experience in IT support, deployment, or technical hardware roles
  • Confident working with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
  • Familiar with imaging, software installation, and endpoint support
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Able to troubleshoot issues and provide “first time fix” solutions where possible
  • Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude
Desirable Experience
  • Service desk or IT ticketing system experience
  • IT asset or inventory management experience
  • Windows deployment (including Windows 11)
  • Experience working across multiple sites or large organisations
Additional Information
  • Based primarily at Head Office
  • Travel to local sites will be required
  • May involve physical handling of IT equipment
  • Must be able to work in line with SLAs, KPIs, and IT service standards
