Service Desk Support  3-Month Contract - Gloucestershire

Are you an experienced IT Support professional looking for your next temp opportunity?

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk  to join a busy IT team in Gloucestershire on an initial 3-month contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and working in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to end users.
  • Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents.
  • Accurately log, update, and track support tickets.
  • Assist with user account administration and access management.
  • Escalate complex technical issues where required.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service while meeting service targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a previous IT Support or Service Desk role (desired).
  • Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritise workloads, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, 'can-do' attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) would be beneficial but is not essential.
