Sales Operations Analyst / Business Planning & Operations Lead

  • 12-month Contract
  • Location: London – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
  • Salary: £115,000 - 125,000/annum

We are hiring on behalf of a global technology client operating at the forefront of consumer hardware, augmented reality, mixed reality, and artificial intelligence. This role sits within the client’s consumer business planning and operations function, supporting large-scale sales initiatives across third-party retail and telecom channels.

This position will act as a strategic and operational partner to senior business leaders, with a strong focus on sales planning, analytics, launches, and operational execution across complex, cross-functional environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business planning and operational initiatives supporting consumer hardware sales through retail and telco channels
  • Own reporting, data analytics, annual planning, and launch readiness for sales teams
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across regions, ensuring alignment between product, distribution, and sales teams
  • Drive operational efficiency through process improvement, prioritisation frameworks, and scalable operating models
  • Identify and implement AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve planning, reporting, and execution
  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders as a strategic advisor on medium- and long-term sales planning
  • Support end-to-end launch execution, ensuring sales teams are prepared and supply/demand constraints are understood and managed

Required Experience & Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Planning & Operations, Strategy Consulting, or a closely related field
  • Proven experience supporting consumer sales channels (retail, telecom, or direct-to-consumer)
  • Hands-on experience managing hardware product launches, including supply and demand constraints
  • Strong background driving initiatives in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously at regional and global level
  • Advanced analytical capability, including developing or overseeing quantitative analysis and translating it into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, data visualisation tools, and analytical platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools or AI-driven workflows to improve operational efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business or similar)

Preferred Background

  • Experience within consumer technology companies
  • Exposure to telecom or large-scale retail environments
  • MBA or postgraduate degree in an analytical field
  • Experience operating in international or multi-regional teams
