Enterprise Architect (London Area)

Our international client is looking for a Solution Architect with experience working in the insurance industry to join their team for a 3-month freelance B2B contract with a high chance of extension, as the project scope is for a minimum of 1 year. This position is hybrid in London and you'll be required to be on-site 2 days a week.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a hands-on Solution Enterprise Architect
• Essential: Proven experience with Acturis software in the insurance domain
• Deep knowledge of insurance platforms, processes, and architecture
• Strong technical expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS applications, data, cloud solutions, and microservices
• Experience with re-platforming, refactoring, and modernization initiatives
• Ability to lead both high-level architectural reviews and detailed technical designs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide specific, actionable feedback

We are looking for a candidate with hands-on architectural expertise rather than someone primarily focused on the discovery phase or high-level advisory roles. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical depth, the ability to design and implement complex solutions, and experience in guiding teams through the full development lifecycle.
