Freelance SRE / CDN Engineer – 3-month contract – Hybrid near London

We are looking for an experienced SRE / Infrastructure Engineer with strong CDN experience for a short-term freelance assignment.

You will support a fast-moving technical environment, focusing on reliability, performance, scalability, and CDN-related optimisation.

Key requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with CDN technologies such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, CloudFront or similar
• Solid background in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering or DevOps
• Experience with performance optimisation, caching, traffic routing, edge delivery, DNS, monitoring and incident response
• Comfortable working in high-availability, production-critical environments
• Able to work 2–3 days per week on-site near London
• Freelance availability for an initial 3-month contract

Important: Candidates without clear CDN experience or who cannot work 2–3 days on-site near London will not be considered.
