Java Software Engineer
Java Developer with PEGA – Contract (B2B / Sub‐Con)
Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Java Developer with strong PEGA BPM expertise to join a dynamic team delivering enterprise‐grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and PEGA BPM
- Configure PEGA rules, components, and workflows to meet business needs
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third‐party services across Java and PEGA systems
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high‐quality solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Must‐Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Hands‐on experience with PEGA BPM
- PEGA certifications such as CSA or CSSA
- Expertise in REST API development, JSON/XML, and integration patterns
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and secure coding practices
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
Nice‐to‐Have Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
- UI development in PEGA or frameworks like Angular/React
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, CI/CD pipelines)
- Exposure to Agile environments and financial domain projects
- PEGA CSA / CSSA / LSA
