12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years specialising in Azure Infrastructure—covering Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure Migrate, Azure Networking, Security, SIAM, Data/Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure IAM. Experienced in leading and technically guiding infrastructure teams of 5+ engineers.

Primary Skills & Expertise

• Extensive experience conducting on‐prem and public cloud infrastructure assessments using Azure Migrate.
• Skilled in Azure solution design for large, complex migrations, ensuring alignment with cloud strategy, stakeholder expectations, and business/application/infrastructure requirements.
• Ability to define Azure Landing Zones, target architectures, BoM/licensing details, and create both HLD and LLD documentation.
• Strong understanding of TCO and ROI to support commercial and strategic planning.
• Proven experience migrating on‐prem workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate.
• Cross-domain exposure including banking, healthcare, and insurance.
• Troubleshooting expertise across Azure and Linux environments, including CPU, memory, IO, networking, and cluster issues.

Linux & Infrastructure Skills

• Advanced Linux skills: managing storage, LVM, filesystems, software installation/upgrades, and server migrations.
• Strong background in backup, restoration, OS recovery, and data recovery tasks.
• Skilled in managing services, daemons, and system boot processes.
• Hands‐on experience configuring and troubleshooting Linux networking, including bonding, teaming, and bridging.
• Experience with DNS operations, secure caching, and records management.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting email services (Sendmail, Postfix).
• Ability to provide file-based storage via NFS and SMB.
• Experience configuring Apache HTTPD, TLS, and virtual hosts.
• Proficient in shell scripting and automation techniques.
• Skilled in web optimisation using Varnish, HAProxy, and load balancing.
• Experience with system performance tuning, scheduling, and process optimisation.
