MES Project Manager

***MES Project Manager – Peterborough, UK- OUTSIDE IR35***

For our international client based in the UK, RED is looking for a MES Project Manager for a new long-term contract in Peterborough, UK.

The consultant is expected to start as soon as possible for an initial contract until November, it will be 4 days per week onsite (expenses covered) and outside ir35.

Position Overview:

• MES Implementation is responsible for leading the end-to-end deployment of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at the site.
• Manage scope, budget, timeline, risk, vendor coordination, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment to ensure successful implementation aligned with global manufacturing standards and enterprise systems.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, digital transformation, system integration, change management, and structured project governance within a regulated food production environment.

Required Qualifications:

· 5–10+ years of project management experience in manufacturing environments.

· Demonstrated experience implementing MES or manufacturing digital systems.

· Experience integrating MES with ERP systems.

· Strong understanding of food manufacturing, batch processing, or regulated production environments.

· Formal project management training (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent preferred).
