IT Service Desk Apprentice
The IT Service Desk Apprentice will deliver high-quality, "white-glove" technical support to Rede Partners' staff, ensuring their issues are prioritised and resolved efficiently. Based in our London office, this role primarily supports London-based employees but also covers remote staff during London business hours.

The IT Service Desk Apprentice will deliver high-quality, "white-glove" technical support to Rede Partners' staff, ensuring their issues are prioritised and resolved efficiently. Based in our London office, this role primarily supports London-based employees but also covers remote staff during London business hours. Typical work hours are from 9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday. Given the firm’s international nature, flexibility is required to accommodate projects and Service Desk operations.
The role reports to the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Lead.
Our apprentice will gain valuable skills and experience by learning from colleagues and mentors throughout the firm. This includes exposure not only to IT but also to the broader aspects of the business. As well as gaining your Information Communications Technician you will also gain exposure to how to apply your technical skills in a high-driven and entrepreneurial financial services firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all technical support queries
- Resolve first-line support queries (password resets, software installs, and general troubleshooting)
- Perform daily operational checks on IT equipment, such as meeting room setups
- Maintain stock levels for IT equipment (headsets, cameras, etc.)
- Manage service requests and incidents in the ITSM tool
- Maintain an IT knowledge base, creating "how-to" guides for common issues
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate individual, teams and 3rd party support
- Assist with new joiner set-up, including laptop builds and corporate iPhone setups
- Knowledge of our IT Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring that relevant updates are made
- Collaborate with the wider technology team on Support incidents and infrastructure projects (for example, annual disaster recovery planning / testing)
Training
- ICT (Information Communications Technician) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills
- Your training will include gaining a Level 3 IT qualification. Training schedule has yet to be agreed
