About this Role

We’re looking for an organised and tech-savvy E-commerce Assistant to support REP’s UK & EU Shopify stores and wider digital operations. Day-to-day, you’ll update product listings, descriptions, images, inventory and pricing, resolve data and listing issues, support troubleshooting, content updates and general ecommerce admin as needed.

Initially reporting to the Director of Digital & E-commerce, this is a full-time role based at our Gloucester Head Office. If you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and want to make a real impact on our online growth, this is the role for you.

What you can expect to be doing

o Shopify Store Operations:

• Update collections, categories and product variants
• Add and optimise product listings (titles, descriptions, images, SKUs, pricing)
• Maintain site content (banners, promotions, landing pages)
• Flag trading risks or listing issues quickly
• Support product launches and merchandising updates

o Digital Support:

• Support email campaigns and product announcements
• Tag and segment customers for marketing activities
• Assist with digital campaign setup and Shopify apps
• Help upload, and organise creative assets
• Update on-site messaging, FAQs, and policy pages
• Support testing of new features, themes, and site improvements

o Reporting & Analytics:

• Help track sales, product performance and customer behaviour
• Assist preparing daily/weekly/monthly reports for trading and marketing
• Highlight insights and opportunities to improve performance

REP has a number of exciting digital projects on the roadmap for 2026. The role will support on these projects and complete other related tasks as required

Below are some of the experiences, knowledge, and skills that we believe will give you the best chance of success in this role:

• Some relevant experience in Sales and E-Commerce platforms and a good understanding of online retail operations
• Previous experience of working with a Shopify store or equivalent
• A good understanding of e-commerce and conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
• A basic knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) for e-commerce (meta titles, descriptions, alt text)
• Strong analytical skills to track and interpret e-commerce performance metrics and sales data
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills and a pro-active, can-do mindset
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-paced environment
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also valued
