You already know how the public sector buys, where the budgets sit, and how to land the deals that count. The opportunity here is to do it with an AI Services proposition genuinely worth selling, real autonomy over your patch, and earnings that reward the effort.
We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, highly respected consultancy at the forefront of how organisations are adopting AI. The demand is real, the proposition is serious, and they want one experienced closer to own new business across the public sector and run it.
This is a senior new business seat. The focus is winning new logos, though you'll grow the clients you land, with a clear path to leading a team as the practice expands. You'll be selling a portfolio of AI, data and digital capability services into the public sector, operating at a senior level throughout.
What you'll be doing
- Owning new business across the public sector, end to end
- Landing significant, multi-service deals with senior buyers
- Working procurement and framework routes with confidence
- Bringing your network and your judgement to build pipeline from day one
- Setting the bar for how new business gets won
You'll thrive here if you
- Have 5+ years selling consulting, professional services, or training into the public sector
- Understand how government and public bodies actually buy
- Can open senior doors and close complex deals without hand-holding
