Senior Data Engineer

RJC is looking for a Data Engineer to join an Energy Trading client of ours based in London.

This is a great opportunity to join a team responsible for large volume data and making a direct impact on Trading.

This is an outside contract with an initial 12 months but plenty of room for extension as the team and projects expand.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a data system responsible for large volume trading data.
  • Creation of E2E data pipelines
  • Collaborate with middle office risk teams to deliver scaleable data solutions

The ideal candidate:

  • 8+ years as a Data Engineer/ Architect
  • Hands-on Snowflake experience (Desirable)
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Exposure to working in middle office trading environments
  • Good AWS cloud experience
