Fleet Admin Apprentice - Compliance Department

One of the largest providers of traffic management services, RTS delivers quality service to an array of clients. The client base covers all aspects of traffic management including consultancy, planning, drawing and delivery. Due to unparalleled growth, RTS has created a new role and is seeking to recruit a new member of the Compliance Team.

Role

  • Work with the Fleet Coordinator to resolve vehicle defects in a timely manner and log results on our bespoke system.
  • Liaise with 18t drivers to collate Driver Log Books entries.
  • Sourcing new fleet suppliers and supporting the fleet coordinator in reviewing current suppliers.
  • Checking that all fleet software (i.e. cameras and tracker devices) is running adequately and efficiently and addressing any issues in a timely manner.
  • Basic admin support as required.
  • Log ad hoc vehicle checklists on our bespoke system
  • Liaise with drivers, office staff and suppliers to monitor general queries arising with the fleet.
  • Obtain driving style report monthly. Distribute to Contracts Manager and Depot Supervisors to implement actions if required.
  • Work with the Fleet Coordinator to ensure that the fleet is well maintained meeting all legal requirements and servicing requirements.
  • Work with the Fleet Coordinator to manage the pool car booking system including logging in and out vehicles.
  • Work with the Fleet Coordinator to manage, source and supply all required Vehicles for RTS Event Team-related activity.
  • Work with the Compliance Manager and Training & Development Officer to ensure that we retain FORS accreditation.
  • Monitor Depot Fleet Stock Levels sent in and purchase additional stock and arrange distribution as required.
