Front End Software Engineer (UK Based/Remote)

A fully remote front-end engineering role building our field service mobile app.

The role

Reporting to our Head of Development, you’ll help drive the evolution of our field service mobile solution. You’ll work across feature development, bug fixing and UX design, while helping to shape both the product and the technical processes behind it.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaboration with key stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Design new features and improvements to existing functionality
• Test functionality, demonstrate to key colleagues and answer queries
• Most importantly, developing exceptional solutions. Whatever the project, your focus will be the same — delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Success in this role requires:

• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership. We don’t micromanage
• Clear communicator who asks for help when appropriate and asks the right questions
• Collaborative with a range of stakeholders
• Technically curious and keen to learn

Please note you must be UK-based with unrestricted right to work (we work remote but have quarterly meet-ups)

Technical requirements:

• A passion for, and experience in delivering mobile and/or web app solutions
• TypeScript. The primary day-to-day language
• React, React Native or Angular with at least one and the ability to adapt to the others
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including using modern tooling/coding assistants to deliver high-quality work quickly
• Comfortable with SQL and efficient query patterns for local-first mobile apps
• Ideally some automated testing knowledge (unit, integration and end-to-end testing)

Package :

• £45-65,000 dependant on experience
• Performance-related bonus
