The Role

Youll report directly to the Head of Technology & Product and own the entire backend transformation. This is your chance to rebuild a critical national platform from the ground up, replacing legacy systems with a modern, scalable architecture that powers millions of customer interactions every year. Youll lead a seamless migration with zero downtime, integrate cutting-edge industry solutions, and deliver fast, reliable services that make storage simple, secure, and effortless for everyone. Working in tight 2-week sprints with Product, Operations, and Security, youll ship features that dont just keep the lights on; they drive real growth, delight customers, and shape the future of how the UK moves and protects what matters most.

Your Profile

Deep expertise in Microsoft ecosystem: C#, .NET Core, MSSQL, Entity Framework

Expert in WebAPI, MVC, REST; proven monolith microservices migrations

Strong stakeholder comms fluent English, tech & non-tech audiences

Bonus: TeamCity, Octopus, Azure/AWS, IoC/DI

2.1+ Bachelors in CS/STEM or equivalent battle-tested experience
