Enterprise Architect (ArchiMate) – Defence Client

• Location: Primary location Glasgow (client HQ). Hybrid delivery possible, but regular on-site presence in Glasgow will be essential for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Travel: Additional travel to other Defence client sites may be required.
• Clearance: SC (sole UK national)
• Day Rate: £500–£550 (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: Expected late October / early November 2025 (subject to contract award)
• Duration: 60 days

RT Consulting has over 15 years of experience delivering change and transformation across Defence, Government, and Infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with ArchiMate expertise to support a people services transformation programme for one of our key Defence clients.

The role:

You’ll be responsible for creating formal architecture models using the ArchiMate framework to document how business, application, and technology layers interact. Your work will provide the technical foundation for future transformation across complex personnel support systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop ArchiMate views of data flows, integrations, and system relationships.
• Produce both detailed technical models and simplified management views.
• Support the creation of data catalogues and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts, technical SMEs, and project managers to ensure accuracy.
• Present architecture outputs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & experience:

• Proven expertise in ArchiMate modelling language (certification desirable).
• Strong background in enterprise/data architecture within Defence or Government.
• Skilled in producing both technical and stakeholder-facing models.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Active SC clearance (sole UK national).
