Who you are
We are seeking Test Leads and Senior System Testers with current SC + NPPV3 clearance lead testing strategy and execution across large, multi team programmes, ensuring quality is embedded across the full software delivery lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
- Define and lead programme-level test strategy and governance
- Oversee system, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Drive automation using JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, and JMeter
- Implement service virtualisation (WireMock) and robust data validation (PostgreSQL)
- Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering practices
- Manage risks, reporting, and cross-team coordination
- Coach and mentor high-performing test and automation teams
- Champion continuous improvement across tooling, quality standards, and delivery practices
Core Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading testing in complex, multi-system environments
- Strong hands-on automation background
- Deep understanding of microservices and distributed architectures
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and modern DevOps practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
Nice to Have
- Government or consultancy delivery experience
- Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Contract testing and API/service-level validation
- Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
- BDD/TDD and quality-driven engineering practices
