Application Security Engineering Lead.

Join a leading global bank on their simplification and modernization journey as an Application Security Engineering Lead. In this hands-on, senior IC role, you'll design and deliver tools that help developers build secure software, protecting critical systems and sensitive information.

What you'll do:

• Develop and implement security services for developers.
• Build APIs and software solutions to safeguard systems and sensitive data.
• Apply your expertise in SAST, SCA, and software vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to embed security best practices.
• Influence technical direction and guide less experienced engineers.

What we're looking for:

• Strong software engineering background (Go preferred; Java secondary; Python nice-to-have).
• Experience in application security, including SAST/SCA/DAST and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication, Linux, and scripting/automation.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• CI/CD, GraphQL, and authentication systems (OAuth) are a plus.
