Head of Reference Data (Systematic Hedge Fund)

We’re partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm to hire a Head of Reference Data to lead its firmwide Reference Data and Security Master platforms.

This is a strategic leadership role – focused on vision, roadmap, architecture oversight and team leadership rather than hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Reference Data & Security Master
• Lead and develop a global engineering team
• Oversee scalable platform architecture
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions
• Drive agile delivery and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 10+ years in financial services
• Deep Reference Data & Security Master expertise (essential)
• Proven leadership across business and technology
• Strong experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
