Role Overview

The firm is looking for an experienced Rust Engineer to join its on-chain trading team. This hybrid role is at the forefront of decentralised finance, where you’ll build low-latency systems that interact directly with blockchain protocols. You’ll contribute to real-time event-driven architectures, smart contract systems, and on-chain infrastructure that underpins a high-volume, high-performance trading operation.

Engineers here are empowered to own their systems end-to-end, experiment with new technologies, and ship code that makes a direct impact on PnL. This is a rare opportunity to write Rust at scale in production, surrounded by deeply technical colleagues in one of the most competitive environments in finance.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in professional software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Rust, especially in low-latency, real-time environments
• Solid background in distributed systems or event-driven architectures
• Experience in performance tuning and concurrent programming
• Interest in blockchain/DeFi is a plus, not a requirement
