IT Support Analyst - Salary c£30,000 - £35,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Hampshire

Our client is a dynamic and market leading Financial Services business. We are searching for an experienced Support Analyst to join their Support team, reporting to the Infrastructure Manager. You will be providing support services to employees. Including day to day resolution for all IT systems consisting of applications, desktop hardware, desktop operations and telecoms.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • To assist in resolving tasks, IT incidents and user operating issues through direct resolution
  • Provide day to day support on all hardware and software in use by the company
  • Provide a high level of service when queries are raised, respond within SLA timeframes, assisting the business in providing excellent service to its clients
  • Assist with the development, implementation and delivery of systems and services in line with company offices requirements
  • Ensure all procedures are documented, maintained and monitored that relate to Support Centre service delivery
  • Research and development into new IT models and new technology for the department
  • Liaising with third party contractors and suppliers by phone and email regarding a range of services in place
  • Interaction with internal staff at all levels, this will include face to face, written or on the phone
  • Transport equipment between offices and undertake ad-hoc duties

Candidate Skills and Experience Required:

  • Degree or HND / HNC in Software Engineering or Microsoft Certified Training would be desirable
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Wintel and Microsoft Exchange are essential
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working within a support environment undertaking a similar role is essential
  • A quick learner who can adapt to the demands of helpdesk situations and is willing to learn new systems and procedures
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal are required
  • Good planning and organisation skills are required to ensure faults are investigated, communicated and resolved within SLA timeframes
  • Team player able to motivate to succeed and willing to help
