Distribution Data & Analytics Manager - Fund Management

A global investment manager is building a modern sales intelligence capability from the ground up — and needs someone to help develop it.

This isn't a dashboard role. It's about turning commercial problems into decision-grade data products: analytics and AI embedded directly into how sales teams prioritise, focus, and win. Power BI is the interface today — AI-assisted insight, automated decision support, and early agent-based workflows are where it's heading.

You'll sit between Sales, Strategy, and Technology, with genuine scope to shape the team's trajectory as it evolves from reporting to decision intelligence.

The role requires:

  • Asset management experience, with a real grasp of distribution models, client hierarchies, and sales effectiveness
  • Strong SQL and hands-on time in Snowflake and/or Databricks (or another data warehousing tool)
  • Power BI built properly — semantic layers, governed datasets, performance-aware design —
  • End-to-end data/analytics engineering across CRM, flows, sales, product, and marketing data — Demonstrable AI-enabled or agentic work — Copilot Studio, conversational analytics, AI-assisted insight
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and a bias for commercial impact over technical perfection
  • Microsoft ecosystem fluency (Power Platform, Azure AI) and ML use cases — forecasting, pipeline-to-flow modelling, opportunity scoring — will set you apart.
