A global leader in digital solutions for clinical trials is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Implementation Consultant to integrate with the professional services team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the successful deployment and expert configuration of our industry-defining software platform across our client portfolio, directly contributing to accelerated therapeutic development and enhanced patient outcomes.

The Role:

  • Provide high-level consultation and best-practice guidance to clients, necessitating active participation in client governance structures and the formulation of implementation standards.
  • Maintain continuous, proactive communication of project status and critical path items to all relevant stakeholders, including direct interface with senior client leadership.

  • Direct the design, meticulous configuration, and functional implementation of clinical trial software (e.g., EDC, eCOA) to ensure accurate and efficient data capture.
  • Author, refine, or formally approve comprehensive technical specifications and functional test documentation, effectively translating complex user requirements into executable system architecture with a full command of product capabilities.
  • Provide specialized support for custom integrations, verifying the final product adheres completely to all defined customer requirements.
  • Independently own and concurrently manage multiple, complex customer-facing projects, working in concert with Project Management to ensure strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and defined scopes of work.

Team Development and Quality Assurance

  • Lead internal knowledge initiatives, providing targeted oversight, structured training, mentorship, and ongoing support for less experienced implementation consultants.
  • Serve as the final point of accountability for the consistently high standard of project delivery across all assigned engagements.
  • Provide necessary technical expertise and assistance to the Training Group for the preparation of specialized course materials and the delivery of technical training to internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., clinical sites).

Required Professional Profile

  • Industry command: Demonstrable expert knowledge of Clinical Trial processes, particularly as they relate to regulatory data collection, standardization, data management principles, and preparation for statistical analysis.
  • Technical literacy: Comprehensive understanding of Data Management Plans, client specifications for data collection forms, edit check logic, custom reporting, and data integration methodologies.
  • Analytical acuity: Proven capacity for critical and logical reasoning to independently diagnose and solve highly complex, abstract technical and business challenges.
