AWS Infrastructure engineer

Role: AWS Infrastructure engineer

Location: Birmingham(5 days onsite)

Duration: Fixed term contract

We are looking for an Associate Cloud DevOps Engineer (2–4 years exp) to automate and scale our AWS infrastructure.

The Tech Stack:

• Cloud: AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS)
• IaC: AWS CDK & CloudFormation
• Code: TypeScript (Automation) & Shell scripting
• CI/CD: GitLab/GitHub Actions/Jenkins
• Data: Kafka & MongoDB

What You'll Do:

• Build & maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operational playbooks using TypeScript.
• Manage observability (CloudWatch/Datadog) and security controls.
• Optimize cloud costs and platform reliability.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of production AWS experience.
• Strong networking/security fundamentals.
• Experience in regulated environments (FinTech) is a plus.
