Hiring: Senior Data Developer (Azure & SQL) | Leicester

Are you a senior data professional looking to bridge the gap between traditional SQL databases and modern cloud environments?

We are looking for a Senior Developer to join a collaborative team in Leicester. You’ll play a key role in maintaining robust SQL platforms while rapidly scaling up modern Azure data architectures and integrating AI/ML tools.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SSIS.
• Leverage Databricks and Azure Data Lake to innovate and streamline workflows.
• Create high-impact reporting solutions in Power BI.
• Collaborate with multi-functional product teams and mentor junior developers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Languages: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Lake.
• ETL: Proven ability to build efficient pipelines (ADF, SSIS, APIs).
• Desirable: PySpark, Dimensional Modelling, DAX/SSAS, or an interest in AI/ML applications.
