IT Project Manager / PMO Analyst

Location: Paddington, London, (3-4 days onsite per week)

Contract Length: Initial 6 months (Highly likely to extend)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented IT Project Manager / PMO Analyst to join a world-leading, global sustainable packaging and fiber-based products organization. Operating within our Applications & Services I&T function, you will support the delivery of our high-profile iHub platform programme.

This role is central to ensuring strong governance, effective programme coordination, and high-quality delivery across a complex portfolio of work. As a trusted PMO partner, you will operate at both a strategic and operational level—keeping an eye on the "big picture" while maintaining a sharp focus on the fine details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Governance & Reporting: Support programme governance by preparing materials for key forums (Programme Board, Steering Committee, Supplier Board), capturing meeting outcomes, and maintaining strict governance standards.
  • Programme Controls: Manage and maintain critical controls, including RAID logs, change control, delivery plans, and milestone sign-offs.
  • Supplier & Resource Management: Oversee resource onboarding (equipment, access, supplier engagement) and assist with supplier processes including invoice approvals and SLA tracking.
  • Data & Insights: Analyze data to identify insights, track project milestones/resource commitments, and optimize reporting for senior stakeholders using PPM tools.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a central bridge, collaborating across project managers, external suppliers, and senior leadership to ensure consistent delivery and clear internal communications.
  • PMO Development: Guide project managers on framework execution and contribute to the long-term development of our IT PMO and roadmap activities.

About You (Requirements)

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager or PMO Analyst. Experience working across multiple projects and complex portfolios is essential. (IT programme experience is highly preferred but not mandatory).
  • Data & Tooling Expertise: Expert knowledge of data analysis—particularly using Power BI. Experience with Planview (or similar PPM tools) is highly desirable.
  • Communication & Multitasking: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships, translate complex portfolio decisions into actionable plans, and manage competing priorities.

Why Join Us?

You will be joining an expansive network of over 60,000 colleagues globally who are dedicated to innovation and positive change. We purposefully foster a culture of inclusion where diversity is valued, differences are celebrated, and everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed.
