Location: London/Sheffield (2-3 days a week onsite)

Contract Length: 3 months initial, with potential for extension.

About the role:

A leading financial organisation is seeking a highly proficient and proactive Solution/Technical Architect to contribute to high-level and low-level designs within our evolving technical landscape. This role requires a senior individual capable of handling complex technical concepts and communicating them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-level and low-level architectural designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
• Work adaptably within agile methodologies.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives, particularly using Terraform.
• Demonstrate a foundational understanding of DevOps principles.

Required skills and experience:

• Strong proficiency in Azure.
• Experience with on-premise architecture.
• Proven ability to present and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Foundational understanding of DevOps.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Banking/financial services experience is ideal, but not mandatory if proficiency and collaboration skills are demonstrated.
