Product Owner

Role: Product Owner (Contract) - Financial Education Sector
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)
Location: London-based (Hybrid working)

My client, a Global Leader in Financial Education, is seeking an experienced Product Owner on a contract basis to join their dynamic product team. You will manage and prioritise the backlog for mobile app development, translate product vision into actionable requirements, and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful financial education products.

• Manage and prioritise the product backlog for multiple mobile apps using JIRA
  
  
• Facilitate daily standups and sprint planning sessions as part of Agile Scrum ceremonies
  
  
• Translate product discovery and vision into detailed user stories and well-groomed tickets
  
  
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and design teams to support development and testing
  
  
• Define product requirements for new features and manage app store review processes
  
  
• Monitor product progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  
  
• Use design/prototyping tools such as Figma or Miro to support product definition
  
  
• Work with CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal as part of product operations
  
  

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in mobile app development
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
  
• Familiarity with Figma or Miro for prototyping and design collaboration
  
  
• Solid experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal)
  
  
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements
  
  
• Experience in the education or financial education sector is highly desirable
