Job Title: Business Analysis and Onboarding Specialist
Location: Manchester, Glasgow, or Ipswich (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
About the RoleWe are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business/Data Analyst to join our telecommunications team for a critical 6-month contract.
In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering a harmonious network identity platform. You will sit at the intersection of business analysis and deep data analysis, working to onboard, map, and organize approximately 850 existing applications. This is an excellent opportunity to leave a lasting impact on our infrastructure security by turning massive amounts of raw data into meaningful, practical solutions.
Core ResponsibilitiesApplication Onboarding & Analysis: Drive the data analysis and onboarding process for an extensive portfolio of ~850 existing network applications.
Data Interpretation: Process and interpret large volumes of spreadsheet data to identify similarities, group applications logically, and translate raw data into actionable security and access solutions.
Risk & Dependency Mapping: Analyze and document user profiles, application dependencies, and associated security risks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between business and technology. Interface comfortably with a wide variety of stakeholders, ranging from senior non-technical leadership to highly technical engineers working "deep in the weeds."
Hybrid Analyst Skillset: Strong core Business Analyst (BA) fundamentals heavily blended with advanced Data Analysis capabilities.
Application Portfolio Management: Proven, hands-on experience working with and managing large application portfolios.
Big Data Organization: Demonstrated ability to organize, process, and reconcile massive amounts of data across multiple, complex systems.
Exceptional Communication: The ability to translate complex technical realities into clear business impacts, and vice versa.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail when working with extensive datasets.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the telecommunications (Telco) industry is highly desirable but not strictly required. Familiarity with telecommunications environments is a major plus.
Cybersecurity Knowledge: Experience within cybersecurity, particularly with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Technical Background: Previous experience working closely with IT infrastructure and applications.
