A leading global consultancy is looking for an experienced hybrid devOps and Performance specialist to superhead critical national infrastructure projects. You will essentially ensure the resilience and scalability of a massive cloud-native environment. This is a high-visibility role where you will bridge the gap between infrastructure stability and rigorous performance validation.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure & CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment cycles.
- Performance Engineering: Lead the charge on system reliability by executing complex performance test runs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing upgrades.
- System Integrity: Proactively monitor the service environment, diagnosing faults within the cloud infrastructure and delivering detailed technical reports.
- Collaboration: Work as a core member of the DevOps and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless environmental upgrades and stability.
Essential Skills
- Cloud Infrastructure: Deep hands-on experience with AWS.
- Orchestration: Proven expertise in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Automation & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- CI/CD Tooling: Expert knowledge of Jenkins and Concourse.
- Performance Testing: Extensive experience writing test strategies and using tools such as JMeter, K6, Postman, or Swagger.
- Infrastructure as Code: Solid experience with Ansible.
- Observability: Proficiency with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK).
- Testing Philosophy: A background in both manual testing and automated performance validation.
