We are seeking a mid-level IT Project Manager to join a global consulting organisation and deliver technology change initiatives for a major international bank. You will manage medium-sized projects across build and operate workstreams, including system integrations, product optimisation, and automated workflows aligned to cybersecurity priorities.

The role requires proven experience in cloud delivery, governance, and project management within complex organisations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards. It is well-suited to professionals aiming to contribute to high-impact programmes in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, control owners, and stakeholders to define clear business outcomes and requirements
  • Attend governance forums and provide programme insight to ExCo and Steering Committees
  • Capture and close actions on behalf of ExCo members with relevant teams
  • Develop and support business case submissions
  • Monitor programme progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Resolve issues and initiate corrective actions as required
  • Ensure effective quality assurance across deliverables
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and crisis situations across programmes and functions
  • Produce project plans, requirements documentation, and user test plans
  • Deliver updated operational processes to support new features and tooling
  • Produce project status reports and ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Align project activities with wider programme objectives and manage stakeholder buy-in
  • Contribute to business transition plans and ensure successful handover to BAU

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience delivering cloud-based solutions in complex organisations
  • Proven track record in technology delivery and system integration projects
  • Experience in business requirements definition, testing, and process documentation
  • Excellent planning, reporting, and governance skills
  • Mandatory expertise in stakeholder management, project financial management, and risk/crisis management
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to manage escalations to senior leadership
  • Experience in financial services is a plus
