Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular) - Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the Role: Are you an experienced developer with a strong backend Java foundation and a flair for modern UI frameworks? Are you ready to step up, assume leadership responsibilities, and design enterprise-level solutions?
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our core application capabilities. In this role, you will partner closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate operational processes and business requirements into robust technical designs and high-quality code.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, making critical risk assessments to safeguard our firm, its clients, and its assets (Citigroup), while driving compliance and adhering to the highest ethical standards.
What You Will Do:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide SME support, assist in answering client queries regarding core application capabilities, and guide junior team members.
- End-to-End Development: Monitor and control all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Enterprise Design & Build: Translate business requirements into technical designs and deliver scalable, enterprise-level solutions using Microservices Architecture.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside business partners, analysts, and senior stakeholders across geographically distributed teams.
- Operational Support: Provide ongoing user and operational support, navigating a high-pressure environment to meet strict delivery timelines with high client satisfaction.
- Risk & Compliance: Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
What We Are Looking For:
Technical Expertise:
- Backend: Strong Hands-on Core Java (OOPs concepts), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Microservices Architecture.
- Frontend: Extensive implementation experience using Angular (version 8 or above), JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS, JSON, and AJAX.
- Testing: Strong hands-on experience with Jasmine and Karma, along with TDD practices.
- Database: Deep knowledge of SQL, major RDBMS platforms, and database design.
- Integration & Web Services: Experience with Advanced SOAP/REST Clients, XML parsing (including schemas), JSON, and third-party libraries.
- OS & Scripting: Strong experience with Unix/Linux commands; basic shell scripting knowledge is a must.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency with Git, IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse, Maven, TeamCity, Jenkins, JIRA, and JUnit. Well-versed in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Proven ability to work independently, exercise independent judgment, and operate with limited direct supervision.
- Excellent analytical, programming, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong project management, time management, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, unexpected changes, and simultaneous multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Certifications:
- Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE 11 Developer
- DevLabs Alliance Certified: JUnit Expert
