Project Engineer - Defence Programs (Engines) - Shrewsbury - 12 month Contract

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join a high-performing team in Shrewsbury, working on defence engine integration programs. This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role with a strong mix of system integration, validation, and vehicle-level problem-solving responsibilities.

You will play a key role in ensuring that engines are appropriately specified, integrated, and supported for defence vehicle applications.

Engine Integration (75%)

• Interface with military and defence clients to understand application and electrical requirements.
• Support the integration of engines into defence vehicle platforms.
• Ensure that products meet military space constraints and operational expectations.

• Provide ongoing customer support for engine-related queries or issues.

Validation & Verification (25%)

• Source components and create test setups for product evaluation.
• Perform testing and document findings.
• Deliver concise reviews and recommendations on product suitability
