Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant/Lead Developer/Architect (GenAI & ITAM)

Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to London)

Duration: 6 months Contract (Inside IR35)

Rate: £450 - £500 a day

A top-tier consultancy firm is seeking a Senior ServiceNow professional to spearhead a landmark digital transformation for one of the UK's most historic and essential infrastructure organisations. This is not a "business-as-usual" maintenance role. You will take the technical reins on an enterprise-scale ecosystem, leading a blended team of elite consultants and internal resources to completely modernise how our client tracks assets and utilises intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• The GenAI Frontier: Architect, design, and lead the technical rollout of ServiceNow's Now Assist platform capabilities, reshaping workflows through the power of Generative AI.
• Enterprise Asset Modernisation: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for an expansive overhaul of HAM Pro & SAM Pro, blueprinting an airtight asset life cycle from procurement to retirement.
• Platform Governance: Own the technical standards. From documenting High-Level Designs (HLDs) to conducting rigorous code reviews, you will ensure a multi-vendor development team writes clean, scalable, and future-proof code.

Essential Skills

• Platform Authority: Proven track record operating as a Senior Technical Lead or Architect on large, enterprise-scale ServiceNow deployments.
• Asset Management Mastery: Deep expertise deploying ServiceNow HAM Pro & SAM Pro (focusing on licence reconciliation and inventory utilisation).
• AI Ready: Hands-on exposure to or strong technical understanding of Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, or advanced Virtual Agent flows.
• Leadership & Governance: Confident leading design workshops, enforcing coding standards across external partners, and acting as the ultimate technical escalation point.
• UK Compliance: Experience delivering solutions within highly regulated or public sector environments.
