User Experience Design - Service Designer
Are you a highly strategic Service Designer ready to lead complex system change? We are seeking a seasoned expert to drive a human-centered design process across the entire service lifecycle, balancing deep user insights with core business strategy. This is a high-impact, 10-month contract role where your expertise will directly shape our service ecosystem
The Role: Strategic Impact & LeadershipAs our Service Designer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing service improvements across all project phases-from initial framing to final deployment. You will function as a Subject Matter Expert, collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams to ensure holistic, effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ethnographic Research: Conduct advanced ethnographic research to identify true user needs and pain points.
- Insight Synthesis: Interpret and synthesize human insights, ensuring they are balanced against strategic business, technical, and brand inputs.
- Artifact Creation: Create detailed User Journey Maps and facilitate the development of Service Blueprints to visualize the end-to-end experience.
- Collaboration & Facilitation: Plan and lead cross-functional workshops to gather insights, align teams, and foster collaboration.
- System Design: Provide expert-level solutions to complex problems, often involving systemic changes that span multiple departments.
- Validation: Develop prototypes and conduct usability testing to rapidly validate design concepts and iterate on service solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in User Experience (UX) Research methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in Service Design Thinking and Design Thinking practices.
- Strong background in System Designs and the ability to influence technical and strategic roadmaps.
- Proven ability to manage team decisions, mentor colleagues, and act as a Subject Matter Expert.
- Contract Duration: 10 Months (December 1, 2025 - September 30, 2026)
