Summary
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Apigee expertise to bridge the gap between development and operations. The ideal candidate will focus on automating workflows, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable and efficient software deployments. This role involves managing infrastructure, monitoring system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and monitor solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS, ECR, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Integrate APIs into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Workflows.
- Manage the end-to-end API lifecycle using Apigee Edge and Apigee X, including design, deployment, and optimization.
- Execute the API strategy, ensuring technical excellence and providing guidance on integration, documentation, and analytics.
- Deliver insights and performance reports through custom API analytics to improve reliability and adoption.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud architecture, particularly with ECS, ECR, and Fargate for microservices deployment.
- Solid programming experience in Python and Node.js.
- Practical experience with Docker for containerized environments.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and deployment methodologies.
- Experience working on enterprise-grade applications and large-scale systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Apigee or similar API Management platforms, including security, analytics, and performance tuning.
- Ability to implement API security mechanisms (OAuth, API Keys, JWT, etc.) and enforce access control.
- Familiarity with API design patterns, best practices, and optimization techniques.
