Senior Manager, International Internal & Executive Communications
Location: London, on site 3 days per week
Contract length: 12 months (FTE planned thereafter)
Pay rate: £485.00 per day (umbrella, inside IR35)
A leading global technology company is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced communicator to join its International Internal & Executive Communications team. Reporting to the International Communications Director, this role will be based in London and collaborate closely with colleagues across APAC, EMEA, and Canada & LATAM who deliver external (PR, Social, Influencer) and internal communications.
About the Role
In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for developing and executing an International internal communications strategy that aligns with the organisation’s senior leadership and overarching business goals. You will ensure alignment with regional internal communications strategies across APAC, EMEA, and Canada & LATAM, helping to create a connected, engaged, and informed employee community.
You will partner with cross-functional teams, including People & Places (HR), Brand Experience, International leadership, and regional leaders, to drive employee engagement and deliver communications that bring teams closer to each other and to customers.
Through Executive Communications, you will provide strategic counsel to International executive leaders across all regions and work closely with HR partners to drive effective change communications.
This role requires someone who can navigate a highly matrixed environment, lead through influence, and deliver compelling, customer-centred storytelling in a clear, simple, and brand-aligned manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive International communications strategy aligned with business priorities.
- Lead a cross-International communications team supporting APAC, EMEA, and Canada & LATAM regions.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand communication objectives and provide coaching and best practice guidance.
- Manage the editorial calendar and oversee content distribution across multiple channels.
- Build strong relationships with employees, senior leaders, partners, and external audiences.
- Facilitate two-way communication to support feedback loops and address concerns.
- Lead and deliver communications projects end-to-end, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and internal teams to execute communication campaigns.
- Analyse the performance of communication initiatives using data-driven insights.
- Prepare regular performance reports and recommend improvements.
- Ensure message consistency, clarity, and alignment across all channels and audiences.
Qualifications
- This role requires a highly experience individual, you will need a number of years experience in corporate and/or executive communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong strategic planning skills and ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.
- Creative thinker with experience developing multi-channel communication programs.
- Proficient in digital communication tools and platforms.
- Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence across functions.
- High emotional intelligence, strong business acumen, and discretion.
