Role Description
As Content Manager, you'll be responsible for curating, moderating, and optimising content that engages our global community of artists and fans. You'll work closely with marketing, social media, product, and community teams to develop content strategies that drive participation, retention, and growth.
You'll identify trends, analyse performance, write compelling copy, and help shape the voice of Rap Fame across multiple channels. We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, highly proactive, and excited to learn in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing
• Create and manage engaging content across Rap Fame's platform and social media channels.
• Identify and spotlight emerging talent and community success stories.
• Write compelling copy for campaigns, features, competitions, and community initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with artists, creators, and key community members.
• Conduct outreach to creators and influencers to support campaigns, partnerships, and community growth initiatives.
• Monitor trends in rap music, social media, and creator culture to identify new content opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute content strategies and campaigns.
• Analyse content performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and growth.
• Support community-building initiatives that strengthen relationships with artists and creators.
• Help maintain and evolve Rap Fame's content voice and editorial standards.
Qualifications
• A genuine passion for music, particularly rap and hip-hop culture.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Basic to intermediate graphics and/or video editing skills, with the ability to create engaging short-form content for social media.
• Familiarity with content creation tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in using data to improve content performance.
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and execute independently.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for what makes content engaging and shareable.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
• Experience in content creation, community management, social media, digital marketing, or the music industry is a plus.
