IT & Security Manager

This is an exciting, newly created vacancy, for an IT & Security Manager to work on a hybrid basis with a thriving software business in Ipswich.

This is a great role where you will have lots of opportunity to really make a difference and the authority to drive continuous improvement from an IT Infrastructure / Security perspective.

Reporting directly to the Technology Director, you will own the relationship with their external managed service provider and act as an escalation point, taking a hands-on approach to supporting users where necessary. Alongside this you will also lead the development and implementation of security policies, manage risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO27001.

To be successful it is likely you will have:

• Experience of managing IT and security within SME environments (100 + users)
• A well-rounded knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and server management
• Exposure to security frameworks such as ISO27001
• Excellent communication skills
