Business Systems Analyst – Insurance Systems
Location: Essex (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + bonus & benefits
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Join a well-established insurance software provider supporting the London Market Insurance sector.
This is a technical Business Systems Analyst role focused on insurance systems, SQL, and software configuration. This is not a traditional business analyst role.
Responsibilities
- Configure insurance software systems to client requirements
- Build and maintain SQL queries to report on and update databases
- Analyse insurance systems and processes across the insurance lifecycle
- Produce technical documentation and MIS reports using Crystal Reports and MS Report Builder
- Support system implementation, testing, and delivery
- Liaise with insurance clients and internal technical teams
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in the London Insurance Market
- Strong knowledge of insurance systems and insurance lifecycle
- Advanced xehkeey SQL experience (queries, reporting, database updates)
- Experience in system configuration and systems analysis
- Background as a developer or technical analyst
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
