We have opportunities for Software Engineers at every level within a team across our Manchester, Gloucester.

Due to the interesting work we do and the sector this team is working in, we require all candidates to currently hold SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• \nDesign and build software using industry best practice\n

\n

• \nCollaborate with stakeholders and other engineers\n

\n

• \nContribute to the completion of milestones associated with your project\n

\n

• \nContribute to continuous improvement within your team\n

\n

• \nCollaborate with your peers on technical direction within your team\n

\n\n

Required Experience:

\n

\n
• \nFull stack experience within an agile team building enterprise‐grade web applications or backend services\n

\n

• \nJava development with Spring Boot\n

\n

• \nFront‐end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue)\n

\n

• \nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure\n

\n

• \nContainerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes\n

\n

• \nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent)\n

\n

• \nUnit testing and test automation\n

\n

• \nUse of code repositories (Git), including branching strategies, pull‐request workflows, and merge processes\n

\n\n
