Position: Senior Business Development Manager – Risk & Analytics
Location: 🌍 Remote (Global)
Razor Risk is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in the financial risk technology and consulting space. This client-facing, results-driven role involves identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and positioning Razor Risk as the go-to provider for modern risk solutions.
You’ll combine market insight, relationship-building, and consultative selling to engage with key decision-makers - CROs, CFOs, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities 📌
- New Business Development: Hunt and close deals with banks, asset managers, CCPs, and fintechs seeking advanced risk management and advisory solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with C-suite execs and risk leaders; align our solutions with their strategic and regulatory goals.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of risk trends (e.g., Basel IV, FRTB), competitive shifts, and client pain points.
- Pipeline Leadership: Own the sales cycle end-to-end, leveraging tools like Hubspot or Salesforce.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product and services teams to deliver customized, winning proposals.
Qualifications ✅
Must-Have:
- 7+ years in B2B sales/business development, ideally in risk or analytics software (e.g., Murex, Moody’s, SAS, Finastra) and advisory services.
- Strong understanding of financial risk management and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven success in closing large deals with financial institutions.
- Comfortable selling both cloud and on-prem solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to explain ROI clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have:
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial - especially in a remote role.
