IT Systems Integrator

We have a new IT role working for one of Europe's largest Buying Groups as their Systems Integrator. A full time hybrid role, located in Andover will see you focussed on system integrations, ensuring that the many systems the company uses are able to communicate with each other so that data transmits securely, efficiently, and correctly between all systems. Working within the IT team and liaising with other internal departments and external 3rd parties to develop, manage and support their integrations. This exciting new role will have the opportunity to overcome all technical challenges as you bring all systems together as one.

As the company Systems Integrator the main purpose of the role will be: To manage, develop and support new and existing integrations between all systems used by the company. Ensure the IT infrastructure meets the requirements of the Company.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Take full ownership of all system integrations, focusing on developing new integrations as well as managing and supporting existing ones.

  • Offer technical support and help for our Commerce and Marketplace platforms.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with our Members, EPOS Providers, and other third parties to integrate their systems with ours to fulfill business requirements.

  • Provide regular updates to the Head of IT on the status of ongoing integrations, suggest improvements for existing ones, and report any issues.

  • Generate reports on the usage of key integrations to ensure they are not misused or accessed without authorization, and confirm all integrations are within their usage limits to avoid unexpected costs and stay within budget.

  • Create technical and functional documentation for all integrations and processes.

The primary skills and experiences we are looking for will include:

  • Expertise in JavaScript, JSON, Python, C++, and CSV files.

  • Knowledge of various transmission protocols, including SFTP.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, polite and patient, with the ability to convey information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong grammar and spelling skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet business deadlines.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

  • Experience in managing change control processes.

  • Some experience of developing, managing, supporting, and using APIs.

  • Previously worked with JSON and CSV files.

  • Managed and used SFTP servers and clients.
